About the Cause
This event supports CurePSP, the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to awareness, care, and cure for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP), corticobasal degeneration (CBD), and multiple system atrophy (MSA). These are fatal rare neurological diseases that often strike individuals in the prime of life.
All proceeds from the Hope As Big As Texas event will benefit the CurePSP Quality of Life Respite Grant Fund, which provides 100 hours of professional caregiving services to families. Studies show that even a brief break from caregiving responsibilities can significantly improve the daily lives of caregivers and their loved ones diagnosed with PSP, CBD, or MSA. The need for respite care services is critical, and with your support, CurePSP is here to help.
Race Day Schedule
7:00 AM – Packet Pickup and Race Day Registration
8:30 AM – 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
8:30 AM – 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles)
Race Day registration begins at 7:00 AM at the race site.
Online registration will end once the participant cap is reached.

Team Registration
Participants may register as a team. Teams of 5 or more participants qualify for a discounted registration rate. Gather your friends, family, or coworkers and participate together while supporting a meaningful cause.
Memorial & Honor Signs
If you would like to order a sign remembering or honoring your loved one who was diagnosed with PSP, CBD, or MSA, you may order one from the printing company listed below. The signs will be placed along the running/walking track.
The signs are 18" x 24" and cost $10.00. You are encouraged to include a short message about your loved one and provide a photo if you wish. Once the signs are ready, they will be picked up prior to the event and placed along the course on the morning of the event.
